Architecture & Environmental Design Students Society will be organizing,

handcrafted by Neollene

Ngerrrrh.. now is 2 o’clock in the morning.. I need to write this, if not.. I’ll never write this post.
awal pagi ni balik! yak yak!

Easy to say:

1. As usual, they pushed (hyperbola) me to design this poster in about 3 hours. We had a meeting that nite.. and my patience almost reached to the max level. and because of some other reasons that happened at that nite. sampai terngadu yang ku ngah geram, kat seseowang.. ngeheheh tak penah2 ku ngadu.

2. Tampal poster berkaler laser jet saiz A3 berharga 5 hingget each kul 4.39 pm lam lift college then kul 10.09 malam (I was doing my major project), poster didapati hilang!! My roommate whom also one of the committee, wrote down a notice that sounds, “whoever that has taken the poster..It annoys us a lot.. the poster is the right of IDEA SOCIETY. It costs blablabla.. Please put it back..” huhu hot stuff! then pasted it at the same lift.

I just smiled looking at her action and I added,

“Nor is hidden from your Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in heaven. And not the least and not the greatest of these things but are recorded in a clear record.” (Surah Yunus:61) since I learned this Ayah in Basic Themes Quran class.

In the end, the ‘stealer’ put it back. Then everybody smiled or laughed to it. Praise be to Allah. Isn’t this such a funny+good story? Fight for our right!! heheheh

I’m working out a short movie and multimedia show for AGD!! hieyaaa penat penat penat.. -.-

Ehekss I managed to design this poster (can I say, this is a poster? huhu buwok!!) around 2 hours before it had to be submitted, because the dateline was within my project 3 dateline. giler sempaat lagik nak pk hal len.. eiii buwok! hehehe

4 Muslim teenagers were reading the Holy Quran Translation.

Thanx to all the actresses! (4 adik-badik mereng) *ngegeh jek.. hehehee

Kiosk Day!

Students in group have to construct an event promotion kiosk using only cardboard as the material including the jointing system (using tanggam) and present it in front of Umar Al- Khattab College on the kiosk day, 4 January 2008.

I have written this one month ago,

Waaah! sangat sangat sakit la badan, the night before the presentation day was the the most tiring nite ever! huhuhu I’ve never felt so weak and painful as that though in the previous projects. I felt like I’m not able to endure the illness at my legs, arms, body, head, eyes and all lah!.. didn’t even get a sleep for 3 days and berbucuk2.. whuhuuu.

Fortunately, last2 minutes my group project sempat jugak siap! Though sempat tukar plan E at the very last last minutes lagik. whehuu perang2 mulut ala sofan sebab nak tengakkan pendapat masing2 pun kerap berlaku! eheks.. biase dah. marah2 tensen campo sayang.. kan kan kak long kak ngah?

But kesakitan dan pengorbanan kerja selama beberapa hari leh lenyap lam sekelip mata. lepas assessment diorang pun pakat2 robohkan kiosk tu sebab nak simpan pun tatau nak letak mana. Wat semak college je lak..hehe. duit berratus2 yang di-spent pun gone!

Tapi tetap bersyukur, praise be to Allah. Usaha kami dihargai orang lain..”the sophisticated and unique one..” thanx all.

My roommate kept on playing this song again and again in our room. I just didn’t care about it (since I was in busy mood, concentrating in doing my project) until she transfered the song into my notebook. Then, I managed to find the lyric on the internet. As for the result, I just luv the lyric. Since I had just submitted my 3rd project, then now I have a lil free time to think about myself.

I have no official big brother. This song is for whoever that thinks this is for her/him..older than me. Pagi yang gelap, kini sudah terang.. hopefuli hingga ke akhirnya.. InsyaAllah.

Major Project

I’m now in the middle of the journey towards the submission and presentation day of the major project, designing a building which would be an information center for tourism industry of Bagan Lalang.

11 sheets of presentation drawing have to be submitted..

A poster of Annual Grand Dinner has to be done earlier..

A short movie has to be produced..

I looked at the mirror for such a long period. There is a circle under my eyes. both.. black in color.. my head feels dizzy.. my heart starts bleeding..

DESIGNERS Issue 1#

Selamat beramal di hari ‘Asyura! kita disunatkan untuk berpuasa di 9 & 10 Muharam (hari ni), membaca Quran, solat sunat 4 rakaat, mandi sunat hari ‘Asyura, potong kuku, pakai celak, dan banyakkan sedekah..

Hehe ku epi ari ni! Exam BTQ (Basic Themes Quran) tadi besh!! hehe sesapo nak masuk IIUM kena watch out ngan subjek nih.. huhu ekceli besh sebab belaja ayat-ayat Quran, Kalam Allah ngan translation dia sekali. tak caya tanya kakak tu.. sapoo tuu..hehe.

Ekceli ngah minggu2 exam ni sempat jek ku ngan kekakakku (eh sejak bilo ku ramai kakak lak nih) hehe ngan geng sestudio or groupmate ku wat shooting pilem! release tensen la kunon.. hehe sempat kitorang wat photo shoot pastu ku edit untuk jadikan kaber (cover) page magazine terbaru kitorang.. DESIGNERS!! ngeehehehe

Hehe banyak lagik gambar untuk magazine keluaran akan datang.. kitorang memang sekepala mereng bab-bab hal bergambar ni. Dah beshar nanti nak wat pilem! perangai pun masyuk jek semua. wheee…

NOTE:

Bro. Amir is the most superb lecturer in our Department (for us). He is our former tutor in last semester. kitorang sukaa usik dia.. kan kan brother kan..
Mdm. Nurhaya is our studiomaster. She has her very own slang in speaking. One of the most popular words to be imitated by our studiomates is, “Not Genting okayy.. it was just Fraser Hill…” hehe this is not back-bitting, she’s just so cute in her way..huhu
Datum is one of the principle in DESIGN which means: an assumed, given, or otherwise determined fact or proposition from which conclusions may be drawn or decisions made.
Bagan Lalang which is located in Sepang, Selangor is our Site Inventory Research in Environmental Design subject. There will be the site for our Tourist’s Stop project. It’s just a nightmare to win a trip to Bagan Lalang..opss hehe.
It has been stated at the bottom-right corner of the magazine, the price in Khadijah College will be RM9.90 and RM10 in Abu Bakar College. (Those are our residential area)
JUTA RASA is the most favourite spot for lepak-ing among AED students. (actually we are just looking for the best food, served there)

Mahabbah Day

Dalam pada sibuk nak exam dan nak submit assignment..leh jee wat Mahabbah Day (Family Day = Yaum Al- U’sra) time public holiday. Alhamdulillah dapat response daripada semua kata enjoyy..

Malam sebelum hari exam nak tak nak ku dikerah untuk wat poster ni though dah lambat. Campo tolak wat lam lebih kurang 3 jam. Masa untuk search gambar tak masuk 3 jam tu. pastu kena lak email madam poster ni, kena edit-edit lagik sket info dia. Info-info kat invitation card pun madam banyak suh edit. Grrrr.. Tuhan jek yang tahu ku rasa pe time tu. Lam hati asik kata.. “Sok nak exam!!”

Praise be to Allah.

From The Best Seller Novel by Habbiburrahman El-Shirazy, ku di-introduce tentang filem dan novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta ni oleh kekawan committee IDEA (Architecture Students Society) time kitorang sesibuk organize Mahabbah Day (Family Day) hari tu, tapi ku lum sempat pinjam novel dia lagik. Kena pinjam sebab kat kedai dah lesap. Though ku tak baca novel2 Melayu yang cintan manis nih, tapi rasa nak tau isi kandungan dan mesej yang writer dia nak sampaikan.

It’s sumting different pada industri penulisan novel di Indonesia atau Malaysia sebab jalan cerita dia yang berpandukan jalan dan nilai keIslaman (ala Indonesia) di samping tema cinta dan perkahwinan yang suci daripada Ilahi. Tayangan filem dia lak masih ditangguhkan di Indonesia. Ku memang nantikan tayangan dia.. Tengok daripada trailer, cinematography dia cem hebat!

Ku tanya kat abe committe yang semangat cerita pasal novel nih, hehe

“Kenapa saya kena baca cerita ni? Apa yang novel ni betul2 lain dari yang lain? Yang bagi kesan tul kat kita lepas baca?”

Dia cakap,

“Bila kita hayati watak lelaki tu, kita rasa kita nak berubah kepada kebaikan macam dia. Jadi lelaki yang perfect cem dia (dalam cerita). Ikut jalan yang betul. Dia cerita cinta ikut Islam tapi dia tak jiwang. Kat sini dia banyak tunjukkan penghargaan kepada kaum wanita. Dia takkan kahwin kalo perempuan tu sendiri tak approach dia.”

Review :

Ayat Ayat Cinta is a beautifully portrayed Islamic love story — a tale of a virtuous Muslim protagonist who overcomes all obstacles of life maintaining pure ideals.

Fahri bin Abdillah is a poor, intelligent student who wins a scholarship to complete his graduate degree at Egypt’s esteemed Al Azhar University. Very disciplined and dedicated by nature, Fahri embraces his life in Cairo, completing his studies and translation of religious books with full enthusiasm, exactly according to pre-determined targets.
